About Cyril Arsac

Cyril Arsac is a London based artist, specialising in oil painting and abstract/surreal work. Arsac draws inspiration from his chaotic childhood in rural Provence and his current life in London. Arsac was always drawn to art, drawing and sketching from a very young age, eventually discovering his passion for oil painting at the age of 15.

Arsac's work is primarily inspired by the images he remembers from childhood, which is a blur between real life, how he viewed the world and the vivid dreams he had. Painting is an emotional journey for Arsac, in which he expresses the emotions from his childhood, and the journey he has been on all is life in overcoming these.

Arsac attended the École supérieure d'art d'Avignon before moving to London in 2013. Since being in London, Arsac's work has been exhibited in various galleries and shows across London.
